Located in a hollow of the Cameron Woods in Lancaster County and situated by the babbling Donegal creek, the Donegal Spring Garden wedding venue location overlooks the majestic Donegal Springs. Old Stone Bridge Wedding Venue |
Built in 1875, the Old Stone Bridge joins the lower terrace to the north woods of the estate in Lancaster County. The three-level terrace housed Mary Cameron’s private garden and once served as the kitchen garden location for the estate. Accessed from two sets of hand-hewn stone steps, this dramatic approach to your ceremony provides spectacular view of the bride approaching her groom. Once joined with her groom the couple is set against the backdrop of the north woods and babbling creek. Standing either at the foot of the bridge or at its crest, your guests will share in this striking view of your wedding ceremony. Located adjacent to the carriage house this venue is conveniently located to the wedding reception venue and will be viewed from the patio where you host your cocktail hour at your wedding.

Stone Steps Wedding Venue |

West of the mansion and adjacent to the front lawn, an ancient stone wall rises from the lush landscape in Lancaster County. In the center of this wall are three hewn stone steps leading to the old rose garden. This substantial stone wall once enclosed the barn-yard to the barn that once stood majestically behind the wall. When the barn was removed the barn yard was filled in to form a rose garden location for James Cameron’s wife. These steps now provide a bucolic setting for exchanging the most intimate of wedding vows.
