One of the largest rooms in the mansion, the Green Drawing Room features Federal period reproduction wallpaper, original interior wood shutters and woodwork, a private bath with tub and shower, and a spectacular 1880 French bedroom suite. The king bed faces the wood-burning fireplace* and wardrobe. A freestanding claw foot whirlpool tub graces the corner by the window. Originally the drawing room, 19th Century guests would have had a commanding view of carriages stopping to discharge guest – both famous and infamous!
