Our Guest's Favorite Baked Oatmeal Recipe
The Cameron Estate Inn has featured this recipe as a breakfast option since 2001 and has been the most requested recipe.
- 1 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 4 Eggs
- 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
- 3 Cups Oatmeal
- 4 Teaspoons Baking Powder
- 4 Cups Milk
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla
- 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
- Calories per Serving: Approx 225
Mix the oil, eggs, sugar, milk vanilla, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg in a bowl and blend until smooth. Add oatmeal and let sit 45 minutes or overnight. Just before baking add Baking Powder and spoon into ramekins.
Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes or until done.
Set aside to cool
Cover yourself with it and wait for your husband to come home from work (Optional)
